Used Product For: Less than a month
After running Disk Utility and zeroing out the free space, I tried Boomerang in demo mode and found all sorts of files on my drive that I didn't think were still there. Since I couldn't recover them, I'm not sure if they were really there but the dates and file size showed in the list.
While this application was fairly easy to figure out, there were some things that were not self-explanatory and it does not come with instructions. There was nothing in the help file. I tried to download the manual but it required me to open an account on their site. I went through the process to the point where it was supposed to send me an email to confirm but the email never came. I clicked on the link that says to report website problems but it came back with a message that the administrator has disabled the link and to open a ticket.
IMHO, this is way too much trouble to go through to get a manual that should come along with the download. For an application with this price tag, it should be easier to get in touch with the developers. This much trouble up front tells me to steer clear of this application.

I found the download location of their manual to be straightforward:https://www.boomdrs.com/cgi-bin/pdesk.cgi?do=get_download&id=12&filename=BoomerangMacOSX.pdf
So, maybe they have improved their site.
