I get the impression that this app. will allow downloading of previously recorded shows from the Tivo Serise 2 box, then burn it onto a CD (not DVD) like TiveToGo. Is this correct?

Like Toast? - ben.lewis

I'm not sure about the features of Toast 8, but this program will allow you to 1) download recorded shows from your TiVo and 2) decode them into your choice of mpeg formats. It does not have an integrated "burning-to-CD/DVD" feature. My impression is that it is more aimed at putting these shows on your iPod or iTV.
