Don't like the 'designed by committee' approach -- makes for blandness and lack of clear direction.
• Needs to link with WriteRoom.
• Needs to be capable of simple outline structure and/or continuous text
• Needs to rise above the TextEdit feel.
But I use it and I'm OK with it but I'm not sure that I like it that much. Has potential to be an outstanding notetaker/writer app with a bit more excitement and sense of innovative direction. Maybe there's an alpha of a v.2 which is breaking ground and we'll see it before long . . .??? But don't put it in front of the committee or we never will ;8-)

Lean and mean - gomengb
I find the text editing and outlining features of Mori more than adequate for my purposes. And user define columns and a nice GTD plugin gives it extra value. What I would like to see are simpler ways to get content into mori (there are import scripts for Mail, which is nice, and a limited one for Safari, which is OK unless you prefer other browsers); better handling of attachment and links do documents; and smoother ways to change values of user defined columns. I have DevonThink Pro, but I wouldn't give up Mori as my main GTD and notes program.Reply to This
