You are right, and I take back my previous, sour words. After tinkering with it a bit more, I did discover its significant speed difference over Sound Studio. My apologies to the developer and the community for my hasty, inappropriate words. I would also add that this newer program adds other features (e.g., adding tracks) that I couldn't do in Amadeus II.

I stand corrected - MacHound

I can't remember the last time someone stepped up the plate and admitted a misstatement so tactfully. Bravo! (Now if only our national politicians could take note.)

I look forward to trying this program out to see if it's SoundStudio's replacement. From what people are writing here, it may be just that.
