I tried eyehide for a month. Being not satisfied, I removed it and the "hidden" folder. Result: lost video and corrupt directory.

Use encryption! And read! - jaanOne

Dear User,

it is not possible to loose any files with eyeHide!!
Only if you delete Files and Folders as usual through Finder use!
So it can not be true eyeHide deleted YOUR files!

EYEHIDE ASKS IF YOU WANT TO DELETE THE HIDDEN FOLDER, AFTER CLICKING DELETE FOLDER!
I'm not quite sure if you read & understood what eyeHide is for or even know how it was meant to work?

BTW. You have not tested eyeHide2.0 for a month, because it just has been released yesterday.

Send me mail, I can help you "find" your files!

If you where looking for safe solution try encryption apps.
