Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Tried it because everyone says it's a good newsreader. After a day of studying the user guide and vainly trying to make it work, I reluctantly trashed it; seems one needs a degree in Zen. And who ever asked them for an e-mail client!? Nice interface, though. Ah well, back to Thoth.

Documentation by Porky Pig? - macfeller

Yeah, the Help sucks, as does all Help.app based help. Earlier versions did have a manual and many have pleaded for a return. but, allow me to suggest you keep trying. The trial period is long enough. The comp.sys.mac.apps and c.s.m.comm newsgroups have many hardore Hog fans that are very helpful without USENET pissiness. There is a Cocoa version in the works. Thoth will break someday and then your only alternative is Unison (horrors!) or something like PAN. At least give the whole Subscriptions thing a try. That is HW's shining glory.
