Why? because Travelers Insurance, some banks and many stock companies are NOT Safari or Firefox compatible so I can't do business online unless I use an unsafe, insecure, poorly designed Microsoft browser! Even parts of NPPA (National Press Photographers Association) of which I'm a member website require internet explorer to process certain things.
