Used 3ivx with DivX Doctor II and was able to very quickly "fix" an AVI (turning it into a Mov file).

The resulting file plays now on my G3 (450mhz) iMac when the AVI was jerky and unwatchable.

If you have a slower, older G3 Mac, you MUST get this and DivX Doctor.

I have OS X 10.4.8 and have had no problem with the codec at all.
