Can anybody explain why updating a Certificate in a chat program requires a reboot?
I always thought part of the value of OS X is that apps aren't tied deeply into the OS, which increases stability. Having to reboot to update a small part of iChat suggests deeper ties into the OS than such a trivial program should have to have.
It's always irritating when Apple breaks its own rules.
