does this product do anything that apple's free included "grab" software (in the utilities folder) doesn't do?? i don't think so.

What this does is put the icon in the bar at the top, so you don't have to remember the shortcut keystrekos (shift+command+4) or have the program in your dock and have to open it. it's a good program, useful for those who need to make screenshots. And yes, having the ability to save as a jpeg, choose the compression, and where you want the file saved is a big bonus.Saturday, January 06 2007 @ 12:07 PM PST

Different than Grab - DonSL777
InstantShot has many more features and customizable preferences. My personal favorite is the ability to choose the number of seconds before a timed shot is taken. I also like the ability to choose the quality of the capture file.Reply to This
