I have used this program so long (over 2y?), that I prefer it over QT's abilities/availabilities to play .avi-files. And what's best, it's stability has became better and even better over time. When I began using VLC, it was rather common that it crashed. Now, I'd be very suprised if I succeeded to crash it with normal use.
