Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

I was using the previous gold version and had mostly good luck with the exception of printing via USB or Bonjour. I just couldn't get it to work. I also was surprised to find the lack of CD burning on my MacBook! This new version works MUCH better with Windows XP Home. Somehow during the update, my existing XP VM became unstable and I had to create a new XP VM (Virtual Machine). Once I reinstalled Windows, I reactivated (without issue- a surprise) and now everything works well. CD burning is now supported and it works really well. I downloaded Open Office (free) and I am in search of free virus protection. I have not tried printing, but the speed is just like a real Windows machine. BTW, I purchased an OEM version of Windows XP Home for about $100 online. This is a version that cannot be transferred and is not eligible for upgrade pricing- fine with me!

Windows in a window on my Mac running at full speed- good stuff! I have 2 gigs in my MacBook Core Duo.
