Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

Just checked out their website. It's like Fisher-Price "My First Project" management software!

If you're looking for an alternative to FastTrack, check out Merlin. It's not as robust (or bloated) and schedules down to the minute. Also, FastTrack doesn't take advantage of Sync Services, so if you want your schedule and resources to sync in the background with iCal, Address Book, and Entourage, it's kinda nice...

BTW, I have to use both FastTrack and Merlin, depending on my needs, but I'd never use OmniPlan or any other Omni rip-offs. Stick with AEC and ProjectWizards. Both are committed to developing one program, and doing it very well. Also, both have great support.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with the Omnigroup slam. I haven't used Omniplan, but I use Omnigraffle all the time and am always amazed at its flexibility, ease of use, and fun factor. Their tech support has also always been good.

Sorry, but while I haven't used Omniplan, I use Omnigraffle all the time and I disagree with the general slam on Omnigroup products. Omnigraffle is a pleasure to use and I'm constantly amazed at how many different ways it's proven useful. I've also never had any problem with tech support on the product.

Right on. I don't know what this guy is smoking, but the Omni gang are great. I haven't used OmniPlan either, but find OmniGraffle to be one of the stand-out MacOS X apps. I'm also quite fond of OmniOutliner. Seems like sour grapes on the reviewer's part...for whatever reason. Lame.
