Just a little marketing polish and I think this'd be golden!

You've got a really good Product (I bought it and use it enough to get my money's worth out of it) that provides a nice function, so no problems there. It's placed in a global market Place and I assume you're Promoting (publicity, advertising, direct mail, promotional offers) it where people can find out about it.

One thing that's been bugging me is your inconsistant approach to Price. It starts off as a $40 piece of software. Then drops to $27, then shoots up to $35? Not very consumer friendly. If you were to ask, say... a marketing guy, I'd keep the price at an inticing $20-25 mark and offer competative pricing for major upgrades (say from v1 to v2) around $5-10.

Bumping the price around doesn't do wonders for building up prospective consumer confidence.
