I had a problem in that after I installed this preference pane I could not eject the disk despite quitting all applications and removing it from "accounts" pref pane. Even happened after restart.

Your "review" makes no sense. This is not a prefpane, but an application. Did you run the omnigrowl application from the disk image? If so, the running application from the image would prevent you from ejecting it.Wednesday, December 27 2006 @ 08:21 AM PST

Probably happened dduring installation of Growl.You need to put the prefencepane of GROWL in ~/Library/PreferencePanes
or /Library/PreferencePanes. do not start the PrefencePane of the diskimage.
