Anyone here know of a worthy alternative to this handy utility that actually DOES work on the MacTel processors in the new MacBook Pros, as well as other recent models? Thanks for the heads-up.

I created my Save for Web Automator action as an alternative for resizing images and converting them to various web formats. See here for instructions on how to install it as a Finder plug-in, so you can access it from a contextual menu just like QuickImageCM. Of course it doesn't do everything QuickImageCM did, but it may help some people.
