of course the app doesn't get two stars, merely for the relatively minor 'crime' of "not honouring CSS styling of form widgets" - but rather because this is indicative of the fact that it doesn't conform to web standards.
now maybe i'm being a bit old-fashioned here, but if i'm assessing a web browser, my number one criterion is not "does it have pretty icons?", "does it do tabs?" or even "does it have a fancy drawer with mini page previews?" but "does it render every single HTML tag and every single CSS definition correctly, according to the recognised web standards?" omniweb does not do this, ergo in my book it fails in its primary function. hence the two star rating
to firefox, on the other hand, i give a four star rating. it is ugly and sometimes prone to crashing but it does "obey the rules". i'll be more than delighted to give omniweb a five star rating just as soon as it conforms to web standards, but unfortunately the developers seem more interested in adding superfluous bells'n'whistles than in addressing this core problem.

So, let's see: you're annoyed because the app doesn't "honour CSS styling of reply form widgets" so the entire app rates only two stars? Are you rating the application or expressing your irritation?I've used OmniWeb for a long time now, and I have yet to find a good reason to trade its strengths and virtues for those of any other browser. (But I certainly recognize that many others will not see it my way.)
Seeing this kind of abuse of the rating system does disturb me, especially with a program I trust and enjoy. But this commentator is certainly not the only person to vent frustration in this fashion. Distorting the rating system this way is, I'm afraid, another "sadly familiar routine."
