Unfortunately, the author says:
"I have no plans to update HenWen."
I guess it's back to Snort with the CLI. :(

It's a problem when a network program, one accessible by an internet port, is no longer in development. Then there will no longer be patches to known vulnerabillities. But it's unclear to me that HenWen offers anything more than an Aqua interface to snort; so, I currently see no reason to abandon using HenWen. When it stops working with the latest snort, someone else may provide a GUI interface.

Perhaps a security expert or network programmer will correct me.
