I had about given up on finding a way to get back to AOL with my new Mac Pro. But, I heard about Cheshire today (by word of mouth), and though it's a work-in-progress, it is a great start. It sure is "fashionable" to bash AOL; I've heard that stuff for years. But, for the rest of us that find AOL has the right combination of features (simplicity for some, more advanced for others), whether for our own needs, your parents or grand parents or less computer-savvy friends, I'd encourage you to step up to the plate, give Cheshire a fair try, give the developer intelligent, thoughtful and useful feedback, and let's help them keep this software alive and well.
