It really peeves me when an otherwise useful app gets corrupted with bogus christmas cruft for no reason. Please Google, keep fantasy out of your apps, respect diversity, and leave religion to families and religious communities. Remind yourself - Don't Be Evil.

Santa in his current 'based at the North Pole brings presents on a sleigh pulled by reindeers' incarnation has absolutely NOTHING to do with any religion whatsoever. This is fun for kids. Of any age. Even non religious ones like myself and mine. So enough already!

Santa just put the lot of you on his "naughty" list. For shame! (BTW, I'm also an atheist, but people freely expressing themselves, including in religious or spiritual ways, doesn't seem to get to me the way it does you; OTOH, intolerance does).

This Jewish atheist agrees with you. I think everyone has gone too over-sensitive to religious/cultural/whatever-other-excuse-to-make-a-stink issues in this country and I don't think we're the better for it. Christmas is lovely--lighten up.

Santa is not a religious figure. The most conservative Christians wish he would go away too, not for the same reason as you, but for the way he dilutes the spiritual message of Christmas. I don't totally agree with that idea, but wished to point out your fallacy that Santa is religious.
