Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I had had high hopes that this would resolve the inability to connect issues between my brand new MacBook Pro (C2D) and my SMC2804WBRP-G router.

No such luck. Same old problem: unable to connect to the network. The PowerBook has no problem with this router. Neither do the two Airport Expresses. Only the MacBook Pro cannot connect.

So disappointing - basement dave

I also hoped this would solve incompatibility with my router. No such luck...

I have the same issue. My C2D drops the signal all the time, even when in the same room, but my other macbook has no issues at all. THIS IS ANNOYING!!

Ummm... I think you've misunderstood. This is software for working with Airport _Base Stations_. How can you give it a low score for not fixing issues with your router if its not an Airport base station?!!! If you don't have an Airport Base Station then this is software is of no use to you but it's still a nice update for those of use that do.
