Tivo Series 2 does not support multiple downloads. If you in any way start a new download while an earlier download is in any way still in progress, the earlier download will fail and leave a 0-byte file on the computer, while the newer download proceeds. Been there done that during my Direct Show dump days. I suspect the reports here about 0-byte files are exactly this, and can be fixed by tweaking the download queue.
