While the Windows version of Quicken seems to get better, the Mac version gets steadily worse with each version. Their latest release removes the 'Recent files' menu item. Why? As far as I can figure, someone at Intuit simply decided they didn't like it. Personally, I used it all of the time.
The salt in the wound is that I cannot revert back to Quicken 2006... the data files are irreversibly changed.
There are a lot of other personal finance packages out there for the Mac, and most of those other developers respect their users. Patronize them. Don't give your money to Intuit, which keeps shoveling out the same old crap.
