Bumped My License

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I bought Acquisition at a very early stage in it's development and have been using it since then. Recently i upgraded to 132.7 and, as others may have noted I am getting hardly anything, or nothing at all, in my search pane. I tried removing my application support files and preference list to see if a file had been corrupted somehow and now the application refuses to take my registered e-mail address. It seems Mr. Watanabe has also added a "Lifetime Upgrades" option and redirected the downloads button to the purchase page, in a loop. Rather tasteless if you ask me!

I still recommend Acquisiton because it is a great app when it's working and when the developer isn't pulling the rug out from under you.

Fix for Acquisition issues - thinkman1

I had the same problem with getting the network to stay connected and also files would not initiate download. I was able to get things back in working order by performing the following: 1. Shut down Acquisition 2. Install Java J2SE5.0 Release 4 (PowerPC version: Download / Intel version: Download 3. Go into your user folder/Library/Application Support and delete the Acquisition and AcquisitionCore folders 4. Download and install Acquisition 132.7 if you haven't already 5. Run Acquisition

Bumped My License - vogelgesangm

I tried this, but it still does not work. Does this mean I have to pay the upgrade charge?
