HELP!

Feedback Type:  Review

Contributed by: tabaks Monday, December 04 2006 @ 10:09 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

The latest version is gone mad, it is showering me with bogus phishing warnings and I have trouble keeping up with the dialogs. It is gone mad and warns on any and everything! I want to turn this "feature" off and can't find where and how! Help, I'll either turn this of or delete Saft from my system, it has taken over my browser (not literally, but pretty darn close)!

Yup. This "anti-phishing" attempt is so poor I am almost ready to uninstall an add-on that I had thought I couldn't do without.

Why oh why is there no off switch?

Yeah, REAL EASY -- too bad it DOESN'T WORK!!

I pasted your command into Terminal, then tried it without the quotes, then by putting SaftNoCheckingPhishingAttacks all together, since I think it's supposed to go that way.
NOTHING HELPED.

I have an email from Roxio.com, and every time I click a link in the message, I get the infamous blocked page: file:///Library/InputManagers/Saft/Saft.bundle/Contents/Resources/space.xml

I need to access that link to let them know I want to continue receiving their mail, but am unable to do so.

Brilliant design you've got there, SAFT team - NOT!!

On another note, when I click on a link on a page in Safari to a Web site, the browser comes up pointing to file:///Library/InputManagers/Saft/Saft.bundle/Contents/Resources/space.xml
and not to the desired page.
Why might that be and what can be done?
