When moving your mouse over the screen of a Mac you're controlling with Apple Remote Desktop the mouse pointer disappears completely so that you don't know where it is. How dare DivX release this sh*tty 'update'.

I installed it as well and I don't see what you described. I wonder whether it could be machine-specific... What computers was it installed on??
I wonder why uninstalling doesn't correct the problem on your Mac :-\
