pimp AV companies no one ever heard of like Nod32 you have to PAY $32 a year for the SAME thing this wonderful AV software does for FREE! Laporte also spends 6 hours a weekend Bashing Microsoft too.
Turn radio turkeys like Laporte off the radio, and follow the recommendations of people like those here that gave 5 stars to AVG Free!

Actually Nod32 is very well known. It uses advanced Huerstics (in other words looks for things that talk and walk like a virus) and not mainly virus definitions.AVG does use some good hueristics but no where on the level of Nod32.
And if you'd bother listening to Leo Laporte, if you need a anti virus program and can't afford to keep a paid one up, he suggests AVG Free.
