I accidentally came across a workaround, using Detour (from Rogue Amoeba [...]
Having routed audio [...], I switched back to "Internal Audio". Suddenly, Volume Logic is working!
[...] install Detour and use it to switch audio ouput, then switch back. I have external audio box and iMic as options, but even switching to Soundflower virtual output works, so you may not even need an alternative audio interface.

Follow-up to earlier note about Volume Logic workaround. It's even easier-Detour not required. It works just by changing output in OS X's own Sound pref panel.

Great thanks. Now it would be perfect if Volume Logic remained active also after quitting iTunes: you have to change the audio output and back each time you restart iTunes. But hey, at least the workaround works!Sunday, December 03 2006 @ 07:19 AM PST
