I suggest the developers change the app name since Spyder is a well-known application for the hardware calibration device by the same name. I have it in my Applications folder and i'm sure they have a copyright for the name.

I kinda agree on this one. The Spyder reference doesn't seem to link it with its functionality (not that all programs are named for what they do), but given the nature of this program someting like BeFriends (I know... sappy) or MyFriends (which is probably already copyrighted) would make much more sense.(Thanks for the updates, everything is working great!)

The official name for those products appears to be "Spyder2" ... I thought Spyder was an obvious choice for a web product, not sure how it relates to monitors...Reply to This
