I am an ACN (Apple Consultants Network) member and I use this product several times a week with great results. In fact, I have used it on my own Macs several times. Boot time of any CD will always be slower that you normally see from a hard drive. The boot times of Drive Genius are typical of any utility CD. I have followed ProSoft's advice and have created a boot Protege FW drive from MicroMat. This boots extremely quick.

While I have almost never had to contact ProSoft Tech support, on the rare occasion I did, they have been very helpful.

As far as the actual program goes, it does exactly what they claim. If your are a tech, this it is the best $249 you can spend for this type of utility. If you are an individual user, the $99 is a bargain, compared to what a shop would charge to do the same thing.
