Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I've got a question. It finally did solve my random quits on launch of many apps, so that's great. But my Dual 2.0 G5 PowerMac (the original) sounds like it's going to explode. The fan steadily gets louder and louder all the time this is running. Anybody else? I mean, it doesn't explode, but I'd like to be able to do something about this, because it just sounds WRONG.

Singe user mode: no fan management loaded - Kristofer_Widholm_652

The documentation mentions this. This is simply a result of the fact that the fan-management software is not loaded in single user mode. Apple knows about the issue.

...and be pleased... - Andreas..

...that your fans, although not at that time being controlled automatically, are doing the job they are intended for!
