I've been tearing my hair out now trying to get this to install on my PowerMac to no avail. The install hangs near the end with Items remaining to be installed=4.
I have poured over the Adobe site. Even the uninstall will not run.
I've tried to remove everything manually, still no go. The install hangs in the same place.
Anyone figured this freaking thing out?

Will NOT Install Properly on OSX - boxny
I too have the exact same problem with installing a new Flash player. In fact, I have found a lot of people online reporting this exactly but nobody seems to have an answer. If you know how to fix it, please post. I have tried repairing permissions and manually removing/uninstalling files. The same thing happens and I too am pulling my hair out. Someone please help!Wednesday, April 18 2007 @ 11:11 PM PDT

I am having the same problem under my account on my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.4.10. BUT, my son uses a guest account on my laptop and he successfully installed Flash 9 under that account, and it works.Monday, December 24 2007 @ 07:29 AM PST
