Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I have heaps of songs with asian characters in the tags. I'd love to use this program to retag them, the albums are all in FreeDB (i've checked) but MediaRage can't display them.

When it can, instant sale, but I told them about this a year ago and it still can't. Sorry guys, no sale.

Still doesn't support international characters - Bob_Bradley_675

Actually, it does support International Characters, so I am not sure what the problem you are seeing is. Please send us a sample file (support@chaoticsoftware.com) and we will try to address the issue for a future version.

I've sent an email to that exact address detailing this problem every year for the last 3 years. The last one, a week ago, was particularly detailed, with explicit instructions on how to reproduce the problem, including screenshots of the results on my system.

No reponse at all. Not even telling me to get lost. I am not impressed - if you intend to completely ignore the resulting reports, why ask people to send you mail? For appearances' sake?

The lack of even a cursory reply to your mail support email address leaves me feeling pretty ambivalent towards ever buying Chaotic Software products. If you can't even respond to high-quality bug reports from expert users, which correlate to *multiple* bug reports on VT, what DO you respond to?

Not impressed at all.

yes -- still doesn't support international characters properly - sporobolus

i can confirm this irritating problem still exists; try the Les Baxter tracks here: http://lix.in/105909

the comments for these display normal roman text in iTunes, but in Media Rage just as strings of numbers
