not sure what to say about not being able to quit. you should be able to quit from the menu bar item (little blue globe), and select "Quit OSXplanet"

If that's not working from you, get your hands dirty in the terminal:

1. open terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
2. type:
   ps aux | grep -i planet
3. this will return something like this:
   fatty 658 0.0 2.7 260864 42332 ?? SN 1:36PM 0:02.68 /Applications/OSXplanet.app/Contents/MacOS/OSXplanet -psn_0_15073281
4. take the number that appears after your username (658 in this case) and type:
   kill 658
5. confirm that program is killed by repeating step 2. only the grep command should be visible.
6. Remove from your startup items and (if you want) delete from your Applications folder

Be very careful while doing this, killing the wrong process could cause problems.

Just open the Activity Monitor (In your Utilities folder in the Applications folder) and force quit it.

If you use a terminal you don't need to type all that. Just type top. Find the number next to it and type kill and that number. But, even easier is to use the Activity Monitor in your utility folder and just quit process.

This is Crap - Houston Hall

This is the BEST program of its kind, by far. I have been using it for a couple of years and it works flawlessly for me. I am using a MacPro Quad computer and I can't say enough nice things about OSXplanet.
The user who had all the programs has one screwed up system, plain and simple. Better look elsewhere for the problem. It isn't OSXplanet!!!

This is either a problem with the user, or his/her Mac.

Maybe this reviewer is the person trying to sell the $20 a copy version that isn't nearly as good.
I have used OS X Plant for a while, and it never gave me a single problem. I used it on my old PowerBook G4 1GHZ for a while before going to the new MacBook 2GHZ, so I know it works very well on both systems!
Don't trust this fake review!
There is a hidden agenda!

I suppose the only other possibility besides being a total noob is that they may have only 128MB of RAM.
I have to admit, my PB had 1GB RAM and my MB has 2GB.
They either have a seriously underpowered POS, or it's a fake review.
