I'm always a bit nervous about using programs like this which make changes to system files, but I took the plunge in a desire to get some sort of UI consistency within Mac OS X (my only real criticism of the OS). Simple to use, does what it says and using UNO Shade gives Mac OS X the most consistent appearance (though the darker look does conflict slightly with some Aqua UI elements).
