I was lamenting the fact that the 10.4.8 update did not have RAW support for my Canon Digital Rebel XTi, thinking that I'd have to wait until at least 10.4.9. Imagine my surprise when I learned that Apple was releasing an interim update to support it.

So far, it works just fine in iPhoto 6.0.5 and Preview.
