I'm using the Pro version, FWIW. I had an urgent request to throw together a website in less than a week, in my spare time no less, not my regular job. And Sandvox enabled me to do it. Everyone concerned was amazed at how quickly I could put together a great-looking, very functional site, with e-mail feedback forms, a picture gallery, and some other content.

At first I was dismayed that Sandvox has no "insert list" command. But I discovered that I could use the Raw HTML pagelet to insert a formatted list; Sandvox then automatically created new list items as I would press Return at the end of a list item. I even found the method documented on their site.

The code that Sandvox generates is remarkably clean (unlike such things as Dreamweaver, iWeb, or [gag!] Microsoft Word) and relatively easy to edit post-publishing if you know CSS and HTML and want to tweak the site a bit. Unfortunately, your manual changes do not show up in Sandvox, so if you use this method you need to create your site with Sandvox and then maintain it in BBEdit or TextMate or something like that. An alternative approach is to duplicate a template and then customize the template; Karelia provides instructions on how to do that. With a customized template, you can then continue to maintain the site in Sandvox.

It would be nice to be able to directly apply Heading tags, insert "alt" text for images and title attributes to links.
