I tried to update my installation of Maple, which was already at 10.04 (running relatively well on a 1.33GHz PPC G4 PowerBook w. 1GB memory). The result: The 10.06 updater ran OK, but afterwards, Maple wouldn't run "Kernel connection failure" or something to that effect.
The re-installed Maple 10.0, and ran the 10.06 update - and everything seems to be working fine..
I'm not quite sure, what the morale is here... It seems that if you keep up with the updates from Maplesoft, they stop looking out for you when they test the upgrades?

Yeah, I had the same problem. (Curiously, on a machine with basically the same specs.) The same fix seems to have worked.Reply to This
