There is no perfect application for the Internet Chess Club, in my opinion. Fixation now looks very dated, and the board is ugly. Chessic suffers from the problem that you can't follow games. Jin looks promising, but as others have said, that interface! Underlined letters! And for me at least, (a) games don't save to the pgn file, and (b) the confirm buttons don't work. The final point means that to resign, for example, you have to type resign in the console. However, IF these two points could be sorted out, Jin would be the best of a far-from-perfect bunch.

Note: The developer is excellent: enthusiastic and fast. They have identified and corrected the bugs that were troubling me. While the non-Mac like interface still grates, I now use Jin as my ICC client. In order of preference, I would rank those clients I know of as: Jin, Chessic, Fixation.Reply to This
