Ever since the changes starting with the 0.5.9 version of Cabos, I've been becomng less satisfied, with what was once the best p2p around for the Mac!
First of all what used to be 5 network connections turned into 3!
I've also noticed (by the activity monitor-utility) that the java process uses more % of the cpu than it used to back in the pre 0.5.9 days.
In particular, this latest 0.6.4 version is a huge cpu hog! Although, this may not concern those wiht high powered desk tops, my 1.33ghz G4 ibook begins to slow down considerably.
my advice: downgrade to 0.5.8 or 0.5.7
the trick is finding it.
you won't them online, but i'll give you a hint...
search with what's giving you the problem now!
Cabos
Get a Gnutella file sharing program.

I miss the pre 0.5.9 days! - Ptrix
Interestingly enough, with Cabos being Open Source software, the source code is freely available for people to download, examine, and make changes to. I too was dissatisfied with the limit of 3 networks, so i plan to ask a buddy if he could change it back to 5, or even higher to maximize search results. Wish me luck. >;)Reply to This
