As simple as this app is, it's almost too simple. I don't understand how to get it to work.
Other points for developer:
- the resizing of the Preferences window is slower than normal... did you write your own code for this?
- some of the text and controls used in the Preferences window are smaller than they should be. The "mini" controls shouldn't be used there.

Oh, crap -- there's a bug in this version which apparently prevents KeyCastr from displaying keystrokes while the preferences panel is open. Uncheck 'show preferences when launched', quit KeyCastr, and relaunch.I'll address this in a quick update.

What's it not doing? You launch it and then start typing.the resizing of the Preferences window is slower than normal... did you write your own code for this?
It's a bog standard NSViewAnimation with whatever the default duration is. I'll explicitly set a duration in the next version -- I do see that Mail (for example) goes quite a bit faster.

The only mini control in the prefs panel is the "Check Now" button, which should be a small control instead, yeah. The other instances of Mini text are explanatory labels, which are nonstandard in the first place.
