Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I downloaded it as soon as it became widely available, although I was aware that it was available via FTP before its "Tuesday, 24th October 2006 Release."
I performed the usually recommended maintenance procedures prior to installation, nevertheless, Firefox 2.0 did not work correctly on any of my PPC Macs (PwrMac G4 MDD 1.25GHz X2, OS 10.3.9 & PwrBook 17" 1.67GHz, OS 10.4.7), specifically impossible to dismiss, is the inability to properly display ANY pages visited within the parameters of the window and/or tab where it should be, all pages and tabs were displayed at the extreme left end of the viewable window/tab, within a 1/4 of an inch wide vertical area. Reverted to 1.5.0.7 which had always worked without a glitch and still does. I cannot yet recommend 2.0.

Firefox 2.0 is Buggy - housetop

I had the same problem with the window loading too far to the left (iMac using 10.3.9). I fixed the problem by going to my Display preferences (System Preferences > Displays > Geometry) and clicking on the "Factory Defaults" button. All works great again after a minor reset.
