Still one of the best but...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

... there is a noticeable lack of really innovative features in latest version. I am still happily working with 5.6 and don't miss anything really important. Good for a user, bad for a developer :-)

Although there would be rooms for improvement. In particular the GUI should have an overhaul because too many functions are distributed over buttons and menues. Particular bad is the overloaded right-click context menue with more than 15 functions from GC alone plus OS wide entries!

In V5.6 and later there is a nagging question whether I want even more CM entries and even if I select "No" GC is asking again and again... :-(

Sometimes the little things make a good product better..... Cheers, Emilia

Still one of the best but... - Thorsten Lemke

Hello,
you can limit the number of context menu entries in the 5.9.3.

Still one of the best but... - here_it_comes_again

Hey, you say you see no reason to move up FOUR VERSIONS but you slam things you wish were improved?!? "DDZZZZZTTTT!!!" (Sound of universal error buzzer.) Wake up, smell the coffee and upgrade!

GC rocks, largely because Thorsten and company work their individual and collective tails off improving it every day. That includes the interface. I remember those annoying buttons. Haven't seen them myself in years.

Best, HICA
