Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

This application failed while attempting to expand .hqx archives, all this on a brand new Mac with 10.4.8 running. This should be more robust.

HQX is not a compressed archive, but an encoding format that allows a Macintosh file with a resource fork to be more compatibly transfered through the internet. An HQX encoded file is actually larger then the original, which in itself may have been in some compressed form.

hqx - stoneman

hqx should be self-extracting. Rating this app a 1 for not handling this old format is unfair, especially for a freeware app. You should have simply added a comment.
