Will El Gato ever add any kind of saved search functionality to EyeTV 2.x or do we get stuck waiting years longer and maybe get it in a paid 3.x upgrade?

if you haven't checked out iEye Captain, I suggest you do so... it offers saved searches and adds a pile of other handy features to EyeTV.
