The past couple of files that I've downloaded... one's about 270MB, the other 780MB, both on 26.4K dial-up (I know... but hear me out here), I've pulled several overnighters on them such that I can get 80MB downloaded at a time per overnighter. All right, so, the main window says 391MB downloaded out of 789MB, but it keeps saying when I double click on the file name that 37.73MB of the content was discarded, I have 698MB to go, and the whole download is 11.5% complete. Would somebody tell me why so much of my files are being thrown out, right, for no reason, if they've already been downloaded in part to my computer? And don't recommend that I get the file elsewhere, because I want my question answered.
