I initially gave this app 5 stars, but I've retracted that review in favor of this one. I'm going to have to deduct one star due to the fact that upon waking my 15" MBP from sleep, the fan speed reverted back to the default. It will earn 5 stars when it is fixed to reapply the fan speed setting when the computer wakes from sleep.

The app should spawn a background process then - Catservant
It worked, but the app really should launch a faceless background process to prevent accidental quitting of the fan control code (I don't like to run any more foreground apps than I have to). If you keep smcfancontrol running when you go into sleep mode, it should reapply your new fan settings, when going out of sleep.Reply to This
