Omniweb is rather quick and easy to use but many pages are incompatible with it! Camino has Camitools which allows you to tell web sites which browser you are using (i.e., IE when you are really using Camino). To be useful, Omniweb needs to improve these compatibility issues.

Well, you should check out the "Site Preferences Inspector" in OmniWeb!

Compatibility issues - feckweed

I would like to rescind my comment regarding Omniweb and compatibility issues. I went to the user forums for Omniweb and from there downloaded a fresh copy of Omniweb 5.5. I then re-tried the web sites which gave me issues and lo and behold all of them worked great. I am not sure what the difference was (probably something I did!) but OW is now working great!

This feature has long been in OmniWeb. Site specific preferences permit you to tell each site which browser it thinks you're using.

Omniweb has had that feature for a very long time. Look under the Site Preferences Inspector.

This function is available in the page preferences under the "Page info, Other" tab.
