Product Platform: MacOS,MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

I have paid for Camedia Master Pro and upgraded it religiously. Unfortunately all it has learned to do over the years is crash. Over time I have had five or six applications on the computer in attempting to get my printers to print pictures, and now I would like to recommend that everyone take a look at GraphicConverter if you haven't already. It IS supported actively, unlike Camedia Master Pro; it CAN print to every printer I have ever used; it WILL give you immense control capabilities; its editing possibilities seem endless. Trying to get information about or fixes for Camedia Master Pro is worse than pulling teeth: no one at Olympus seems interested and I doubt they are competent to help even if you could get them interested.

As you may see I am not pleased with the prduct or its sponsors, although I love Olympus cameras and own way too many of them to be treated this way. I used to own Nikons, but Olympus made a believer out of me more than twenty years ago. Now my first choice is Olympus and my second would be Canon. And I still believe Olympus is the best buy.

Clumsy and Unreliable - pdmiller

Thanks for this. I am not very experienced in pc, and I thought my Camedia Master problems were just due to my own lack of knowledge. Have sent two e-mails to what Olympus are pleased to call their "tech support " service. I gave full details fo what was happening. Their first reply was a load of garbage. I replied back, telling them so, and asking for something more relevant and informative. Second e-mail from them : We regret, we do not know the answer to your problem. How impressive is that?

Am reassured by your posting, and will search for another software package. Thanks again.

Murali.
