Like many people, I would like more system sounds than Apple builds OS X with.

But I also want a stable operating system.

After troubleshooting with the experts at Apple, we determined that the system crashes I experienced, including the cessation of Apple system sounds, crashing of multiple programs, destruction of Display systems on my monitor, and more were most certainly the result of Xounds and Ape.

Apple specifically discourages the use of ALL such system-altering software.

Xounds is dangerous.

Before I called Apple, I contacted the developer. He, Andreas, gave me no help beyond telling me to "Restart!"

When I told him that did not work, he let me know I was stupid.

Are developers allowed to rate their own product here?
